This Privacy Policy describes how Mbox Splitter Pro ("the App") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information. The App collects limited, anonymous data to improve quality:

• Crash reports (Sentry): Device type, OS version, and stack traces when the app crashes. No personally identifiable information is included. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.

All email processing happens entirely on your local device without sending any email data to our servers.

How the App Works

Mbox Splitter Pro performs the following operations locally on your Mac:

• File Reading: When you select an MBOX file, the App reads it from your local filesystem to analyze its contents and structure.
• File Splitting: The App splits large MBOX archives into smaller, manageable files based on your chosen criteria (by size, by date, or by message count). All processing happens locally on your device.
• File Writing: Split MBOX files are saved to a location you choose on your Mac.

The App does not connect to any external servers during this process.

Data Security

We take the following measures to protect your data:

• App Sandbox: The App runs in Apple's App Sandbox, limiting its access to only files you explicitly grant permission to.
• No Network Access: The App does not require or use any network connections.
• Minimal External Services: The App connects only to Sentry for crash reporting. No email data is ever transmitted.

Third-Party Services

• Sentry — crash reporting and error tracking. Sentry collects device type, OS version, and stack traces to help us fix bugs. No personally identifiable information is collected. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — in-app purchase management. RevenueCat processes purchase data through Apple's payment infrastructure. We never receive or store your payment details directly. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple (App Store) — the app is distributed via the Mac App Store. Apple handles all payment processing. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any advertising or user tracking services.

Data We Do NOT Collect

To be explicit, we do not collect:

• Personal identification information
• Usage statistics or patterns
• Location data
• Your email content, metadata, or attachments
• Analytics or telemetry data

Your Rights

Since we don't collect any data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete from our systems. All files are processed and stored locally on your device, and you have full control over them.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
