Phygital Timer ("we", "us", or "the app") is a desktop timer application for macOS with four modes: Timer, Pomodoro, Interval, and Meditation. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
1. Data Controller

2. Data We Collect
Phygital Timer does not collect your name, email address or other contact details. Your timer settings and preferences are stored locally on your device. To keep the app working and improve it, the app sends the following limited data to service providers:
- TelemetryDeck (anonymous usage analytics): usage events such as app opened, timer started, timer completed and paywall viewed, with technical context (app version, OS version, device model, language). The device identifier is hashed on your device before it is sent, so TelemetryDeck only receives an anonymized ID that is not linked to your identity. It is not used for advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. See TelemetryDeck’s Privacy Policy.
- Sentry (crash reports and diagnostics): stack traces, device model, OS and app version, sampled performance data and session health (whether a session ended in a crash), plus whether premium is active. Sent to Sentry’s EU (Germany) region and not linked to your identity. See Sentry’s Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat (purchases): a random, anonymous app user ID generated by RevenueCat (not your name, email or Apple ID) and your App Store purchase history for this app (products, purchase and expiry dates), used to unlock and restore premium features. Apple processes payments; we never receive your payment details. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
Phygital Timer does not collect:
- Personal identity information (name, email, phone number)
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- Contacts, photos, or other personal content
4. Third-Party Services
Phygital Timer does not integrate any advertising networks and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Timer alerts and reminders are local notifications created by the operating system on your device.
5. Data Storage
Timer preferences (selected mode, duration settings) are stored locally on your Mac using standard macOS preferences. Uninstalling the app removes all associated data.
6. Children's Privacy
Phygital Timer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
