How the App Works
Email Converter performs the following operations locally on your Mac:
- File Reading: When you select MBOX files, the App reads them from your local filesystem to parse individual email messages.
- File Conversion: The App converts MBOX email archives into individual EML files. All conversion happens locally on your device.
- File Writing: Converted EML files are saved to a location you choose on your Mac.
The App does not connect to any external servers during this process.
Data Security
We take the following measures to protect your data:
- App Sandbox: The App runs in Apple's App Sandbox, limiting its access to only files you explicitly grant permission to.
- No Network Access: The App does not require or use any network connections.
- No External Services: The App does not connect to any servers whatsoever.
Third-Party Services
The App does not communicate with any third-party services. We do not use any analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or other third-party services.
Data We Do NOT Collect
